Davies 4th at Eriez Speedway WoO Tuneup

Doug Eck and Andy Kania headline the grid for the 25 lap feature event. With two in the books Andy Kania gets turned around in turn four bringing out the caution bunching the field for the restart. After the restart Ron Davies puts on a show passing the leader Eck on lap seven but doesn't cross the stripe before caution flies for the 22 machine of Bump Hedman. Davies motors back by Eck for the lead on lap 11 as Chris Hackett grabs second on the high side one lap later. Eck battles back on lap 16 but cant make it stick at the stripe. 5 laps later Hackett gets to high exiting four opening the door for eck to get back by. Caution flies once again for the 76 machine of Andy Kania loosing power in turn four. Davies Brings them to the green but enters turn one to hot and jumps the cushion giving Eck the bottom of the track as Hackett and Knight follow suit. Hollywood Mike Knight the fights past Hackett for the second position and with just one turn left Eck jumps the cushion in four as Knight comes door to door with the leader. It was a drag race back to the line with Knight edging Eck for the win as the crowd stood on their feet for the exciting performance the top five put on. Your top five finishers were Mike Knight, Doug Eck, Chris Hackett, Ron Davies, and John Volpe.
